We enjoyed the Holy Spirit together

On two evenings when the plan was to go out to the French quarter to talk with people, the leader felt we should have a worship service. There was such unity and love among them and the Spirit moved beautifully and directed the whole meeting; He gave people words, songs, scriptures, prophecies and encouragements for one another. Oh it just rung in me so clear, that this was church! And yet this community working together, eating together, enjoying each others company, having meaningful conversations, doing ministry together, and then having times set aside for the Holy Spirit to move and speak to each other, was all church. Church is not just Sunday morning, The service is like one pillar of a 20 pillar building! We we're all touched deeply by the Holy Spirit, He was in our presence, healing, redeeming and loving us. People were transformed and delivered, the enemy was defeated. Oh it was beautiful. It is so meaningful to be apart His original intent for church!
